About us

The association for the promotion of street children in Bolivia e. V. was founded in 1997 and is based in Rottweil (Baden-Württemberg). The purpose of the association is to support children in need of support in Bolivia, mainly in the area around La Paz. This includes, for example, the accommodation of homeless children in children's homes, the daily feeding of street children, health care for destitute children and much more. The association makes use of the help of the Fundacion Arco Iris (freely translated: relief organization rainbow), founded by the priest Josef Maria Neuenhofer, which coordinates the help on the spot. Furthermore, the association works closely with the Arco Iris Foundation in Germany.

Since May 2015, Rainer Langenbacher has been chairman of the association. Together with the association's board of directors and up to six committee members, he directs the association's fortunes.
