MCHARI is a Female led organization. The main objective is to implement activities to reduce the incidence of HIV/AIDS amongst female people who use drugs within communities in Lagos State-
Women account for more than half of all individuals living with HIV globally. Despite increasing drug and HIV epidemics among women, females who use drugs are rarely found in research, harm reduction programs, or drug and HIV treatment and care. Injection and non-injection drug use affect the health and well-being of millions of women worldwide. While women comprise one-third of all people who use drugs, they do so in substantial amounts.
