About us

Afriversity is a not-for-profit organisation working to release existing entrepreneurial potential in Africa. Entrepreneurship lies behind the development and start-up of Small Micro and Medium Enterprises (SMME) and it is a widely accepted phenomenon that SMMEs provide the majority of new jobs worldwide and are vital to the continuing growth and success of any vibrant economy.

Afriversity offers a practical and individualised entrepreneurial development programme that combines hands-on business education, training and incubation, designed to help budding entrepreneurs. We call these highly confident individuals “Afripreneurs” - motivated and honed with the skills and drive to create, manage and grow successful businesses. The idea of not only training but providing a second tier and incubation period for qualifying Afripreneurs provides all necessary resources giving them the best possible chance of succeeding!
