About us

National Youth Empowerment Network (NYEN) is a registered Non Governmental Organization which operates in the following districts; Bushenyi district-western Uganda, Wakiso district, Mukono district and Nakaseke district in Central Uganda. NYEN strives and works to empower youths and their communities to efficiently participate in their social and economic development through training, mobilization and appropriate resource allocation. NYEN mainly works with the youth to help the disadvantaged people in these communities to improve on their standards of living.

“Self reliant community able to sustain its self”

Our Objectives:
 To promote health amongst our people as may be prescribed by law.
 To promote civic education amongst our people as may be prescribed by law.
 To contribute towards poverty alleviation in Uganda.

Programs:
 Empowering society to access good health and Medicare.
 Trade and Economics: Civic Education and poverty reduction or alleviation.
 Food and Agriculture for sustainable development
 Health: Good hygiene, prevention of HIV AIDS and embracing the infected and affected youth and children.

Donations that cannot be used for the project

Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.

Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
