About us
Growing Tree Liberia gGmbH is an independent, non-profit and non-governmental organization based in Berlin, Germany. GTL is run by a small team working closely and collaboratively with partners in Liberia. We seek to assist Liberians to achieve a more sustainable future. GTL is in the process of establishing a child care complex that will provide residential care for vulnerable and neglected children, in particular orphans, at a site 45 minutes north of Monrovia in Bomi County. In the long term, Growing Tree Child Care Program plans to establish a foster care system linked to the child care complex in order to offer children a more permanent home and an individual family to care for them. GTL also provides school fees for 19 children in the impoverished downtown Monrovia neighborhood of Clay Street, allowing children to attend school who would otherwise not be able to.

We received a payout of €312.00
We are closing down our betterplace fundraiser and will use the last remaining funds in the campaign to repair our well on the property in Sass Town. The well is needed for all construction work on the site and we unfortunately had damage to the hand pump. We hope to get it fixed as soon as possible!
