About us
The Reed Trust enables the economically disenfranchised to leverage their initiative, accelerating the process of building incomes, assets and economic security. To be successful, the project must achieve excellent repayments and provide access to the members.
Reed International believes that savings facilities make large scale lending operations possible. This is informed from studies showing that the economically disenfranchised people operating in the informal sector do save and should access to credit.
Our programs offers a means of engaging economically disenfranchised households as active participants in market based systems, in which they have their own demands and obligations, and which enable them to integrate into and contribute to the broader economy.
