Volunteer WindAid

About us

Founded in November 2009, our aim is to help provide electricity to the millions of people living in Peru without access of the money to afford energy generation.

We run volunteer programs, whereby groups of volunteers come together in Trujillo and learn how to build small-scale wind turbines. The volunteers then build a complete wind turbine and install it in a community in Peru.

Thanks to the help of our volunteers we are able to give the wind turbines away to communities most in need of electricity.
