About us

Our association's work focuses on togetherness around the topic of cooking, where people with and without refugee experience meet on an equal footing. At our events, such as cooking evenings, cooking classes, picnics, or at our community meetings, we want to create intercultural networks and shape the future together. Together we cook international dishes, fusion as well as national classics.

We are convinced that everyone can contribute to society with their individual background and strengths in order to foster a community where people meet with respect and openness.

As a satellite project of the Berlin social enterprise of the same name (https://ueberdentellerrand.org/de/home/), Über den Tellerrand kochen München e.V. works in a non-denominational, cross-party, anti-discriminatory and appreciative manner.
