About us
Letsema Centre for Development and Democracy ist eine Non-Profit Organization aus Suedafrika, Pretoria. Letsema Centre verfuegt ueber drei internationale Freiwillige und vielen weiteren lokalen Freiwilligen aus und um der Hauptstadt Pretoria.
Letsema Centre hat sein Augenmerk auf viele verschiedene Aspekte gelegt. Zentral sind z.B. Armutsbekaempfung, Umwelt im Sinne des Klimawandels und das bilden von lokalen Dynamiken fuer eine starke und sichere Gemeinschaft.
Auf internationaler Ebene besteht eine Partnerschaft zwischen Suedafrika, Brasilien und Deutschland.
Letsema Centre exist to empower people, organisations and communities towards sustainable development and democracy by (a) undertaking social research and analysis; (b) facilitating peer learning and voluntary initiatives; (c) engaging in public policy and community participation; (d) strengthening intra/inter country/community/organisation/stakeholder relations; (e) and coordinating community-based awareness campaigns and information dissemination.
