About us
The VVN-BdA is the oldest antifascist organization in Germany. She was founded in 1947 by survivors of the concentration camps, resistance fighters and victims of Nazi-persecution of all political stances. Today, a lot of young antifascists are part of our organization.
“The destruction of Nazism with its roots is our slogan. Building a new world of peace and freedom is our goal.”
The oath of Buchenwald, that survivors of the concentration camp Buchenwald formulated after the Liberation in April 1945, is the slogan to which we adapt our actions. It is our goal to push back neofascist activities, to inform about the atrocities of the Nazis and to do everything that we can so that they never happen again.
Our associations in the different federal states regularly organize events to commemorate the victims of the Nazis and take part in broad political alliances and antifascist, antiracist and antimilitarist demonstrations.
