About us
TruckSHOP is a free shop for refugees inside a truck. The organization's aim is to provide refugees with the most needed goods and having fair distribution systems. Currently TruckSHOP provides people living in refugee camps in Northern Greece with winter clothes, undergarments, winter accessories and shoes. Our mission is to give people the feeling of having a choice, because they are not able to live an autonomous life in the refugee camps. Currently there is no organization in Greece that is focused on clothes distribution which is a very basic need that is often not met within camps to an adequate standard. Most clothing distributions that have occurred in camps have been done intermittently and without offering choice, something that can be very psychologically debilitating for a lot of people that have received aid in the past. This is why we have chosen to set up this project.

Spendengelder, die nicht mehr für das Projekt ausgegeben werden können
Liebe Spender,
bei Projekten, bei denen Spendengelder über einen langen Zeitraum hinweg nicht angefordert wurden, sehen das Gesetz und unsere Nutzungsbedingungen vor, dass die Spenden von der gut.org gemeinnützigen AG (Betreiberin von betterplace.org) zeitnah für deren satzungsmäßige Zwecke verwendet werden müssen.
Deshalb setzen wir die noch nicht verwendeten Spendengelder für diese Zwecke ein
