About us
Inspirational Women International (IWI) immerge from the ideas of 12 college and high school friends who saw a gap of inequality around them and felt the need to address issues affecting the vulnerable society, especially women and children. Utilizing portions of our individual monthly incomes and grants from like-minded generous individuals, IWI began as a grass root charitable organization that made donations to orphans, school-going children, the sick, and other unprivileged women and children.
After years of working and expanding our scope of operations, the then Inspirational Women- Liberia was incorporated as a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) under the laws of Liberia on April 14, 2015 with the new name Inspirational Women International (IWI).
Since our establishment, IWI has been operational in Montserrado, Bomi, Grand Bassa, Lofa, Bong, and Rivercess Counties with focus on the following thematic areas: psychosocial counseling, child protection, gender based violence.etc

Donations that cannot be used for the project
Dear donors,
when managers of a project haven't requested a payout over the course of a longer period, the German law and our terms of use provide that we (gut.org gemeinnützige AG, operator of betterplace.org) use the money for our tax-deductible purposes. The same applies to the cancellation of a project, where the manager of the project is unable to realize it.
Therefore we will use these donations for the following purposes
