About us
Vision For Vulnerable Communities Foundation is a Non-governmental Community based organization. Our physical office location is Nabweru,Wakiso District and we have branches in Lufula Zone, Bwaise II Parish of Kawempe Division in Kampala (Uganda). We focus a lot of our attention on orphans and vulnerable children living in the slums of Kampala. We educate and give a home to the less advantaged.
Vision For Vulnerable Communities Foundation was founded in 2012
The organization’s vision is: To see empowered communities living above the poverty line and equipped with more knowledge for sustainable development whilst conserving the environment.
Our objectives are
: • To become a platform aimed at transforming poor communities to move above the poverty line.
• To implement programs aimed at improving child and youth welfare and rights.
• To implement programs aimed at boosting house hold incomes of child minders through workshops for hand-on-skills, better financial management and income generating activities among others
.
• To formulate programs aimed at environmental protection.
• To implement projects aimed at sensitization and providing awareness to the community on issues of: health, community sanitation, HIV/Aids, better parenting, good morals and Environmental conservation among others.
