About us

Frauen lernen gemeinsam (Women learning together) is a multi-cultural group of women in Bremen, of all ages and from all walks of life. We are active in fields such as culture, feminism, politics, work and health, among others. Our group contains both a “core team” and volunteer freelance writers, making what we have to offer both varied and colourful.
Our most important project is the online magazine frauenseiten.bremen. Women here are writing for themselves, expressing their own opinions and gathering information both nationally and from the Bremen region. The magazine was originally started in 2002 to interest women in the internet and our writers now are recruited largely from the women who became web-literate during the project. We support this work as much as we can.
Our volunteers are the life and soul of the project and we now offer practical training in the field of writing online, social media and publicity work. Under the categories “Wunschaktie” and “Spendenwiese” on our homepage you can find opportunities to support our work financially.
