About us

Yakusinchi Reserve is working hard to protect a fragment of Cloud Forest in a biodiversity hotspot in the foothills of the Western Andes of Ecuador. With 300 acres teaming with wildlife such as Howler monkeys, capuchin monkeys, ocelots, puma, sloths, kinkajous, all types of reptiles and anphibians and birds such as parrots and toucans etc etc The Reserve also houses YakusinchiWILD - a rescue centre rehabilitating Cloud Forest wildlife back into the wild!

This money is to buy heavy-duty gloves for wildlife handling within the YakusinchiWILD Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre.  We use these gloves for handling ocelots and sometimes monkeys and giant anteaters etc.
