About us
The charitable organization Buddhist Nunnery Shide wishes to support German speaking nuns practicing in the Tibetan tradition in establishing a community of nuns. A quiet monastic place in healthy surroundings is meant to be created for the nuns, in which they can dedicate themselves to the study and practice of Buddha´s teachings. In that way they will be able to work lovingly and peacefully for sentient beings. Therefore the charity provides the material foundation for the building and continuation of the nunnery Shide through dana or donations.

Vielen Dank liebe Unterstützerinnen und Unterstützer für die Spenden für verschiedene Instandhaltungsarbeiten im Haus des Klosters Shide. Wir freuen uns, dass wir mit lokalen Handwerkern arbeiten können, die über die Jahre uns auch vertraut geworden sind.
