About us
The charitable organization Buddhist Nunnery Shide wishes to support German speaking nuns practicing in the Tibetan tradition in establishing a community of nuns. A quiet monastic place in healthy surroundings is meant to be created for the nuns, in which they can dedicate themselves to the study and practice of Buddha´s teachings. In that way they will be able to work lovingly and peacefully for sentient beings. Therefore the charity provides the material foundation for the building and continuation of the nunnery Shide through dana or donations.

betterplace hat dieses Geldspendenprojekt gemäß Ziffer 14.2 unserer Zusätzlichen Nutzungsbedingungen abgebrochen.
Bezüglich der noch nicht überwiesenen Spendengelder in Höhe von 297,50 Euro, die nicht mehr an die Spender*innen zurückerstattet werden konnten, hat betterplace entschieden, dass die restliche Summe von 297,50 Euro auf dieses andere Projekt derselben Organisation transferiert wird: https://www.betterplace.org/de/projects/139096-instandhaltungsarbeiten-fuer-das-kloster-shide
