About us

VISION:
Empowerment for Marginalised Community (Emac) was established in April 2013 in Tanzania with registration number 00NGO/0006226. This is a no political and non for profit organisation seeking to work with poor and marginalised women in hard to reach areas of Tanzania to support initiatives of the poor to enable them to access the basic need including health, environmental conservation and poverty eradication.

Mission:
E-MAC-TANZANIA works to see a society whereby all people, women in particular who are marginalised have access to all basic needs including health( sexual and reproductive health) , economic and be able to participate fully in poverty eradication and decision making process concerning their life.
Emac is committed to promote the initiative of the marginalized and the disadvantaged women, youth and children to propose sustainable solution for social, economic, political and cultural challenges affecting their lives by working with like – minded individuals and organisations.

Management:
Emac has a board of directors composed of individuals with various professional backgrounds that contribute to the development of the organisation and its activities. The board is responsible for ensuring a strtegic leadership for the organisation including development of relevant policies. The management team is responsible to executes routine activities of the organisation and programs.
