About us
Hands for Help Nepal invite to all for volunteering in the monastery in Teaching English to Buddhist Monks, volunteer will teach basic level to advance level of English 2 to 4 hours a day, six days a week. Some monastery have their own curriculum that you have to use as a reference in order to prepare lesson plan, some monastery have no English teaching curriculum so you will assess monks English level then start to teach them.
We have Monastery Teaching Project in and out side of Kathmandu, volunteer will be placed as per monasteries space and volunteers interest. Volunteer will live in either at the monastery or in host family we do have another option to be place at the hostel that is available in Kathmandu and Pokhara.
