About us

The rescue Mazingira Organization is an independent and not for profit. Corporation registered by the BRELA in 2013 September and provided with the certificates of Incorporation no 102719 and operating only under this name since its inception.
Rema is led by a dedicated volunteer Board of Directors as well as a number of staff with varied knowledge with the following purpose;
1. To improve the environmental health, water and sanitation and well being of the most vulnerable communities, while protecting the Country’s natural environmental through building community resilience in response to an increasingly valuable climate.
2. To create awareness to the community with emphasis on Youth, Men and Women in environmental conservation and all necessary development issues and to promote environmental conservation, protection and environmental impacts assessment through encouraging the community members to discourage deforestation.
3. To enhance social economic development for the community with special emphasis on Youth and Women and other marginalized members of the community through promotion of food security, Income generation activities on sustainable human and physical activities.
4. Promoting organic farming geared at reducing using of agro chemicals in agriculture by emphasing in areas where water harvesting both insity and exsity cab be implemented together with other techniques that consume water to ensure sustainable and quality products.
