Citizens Alliance for North Korean Human Rights: NKHR
We started in 1996 as the first organization in the world that has been established to address solely the North Korean human rights violations.
With regard to the main composition of this movement, it is a citizens' movement.
With regard to its direction, it is an international movement.
With regard to lessons from history, our movement is a peace movement.
With regard to our goals and repercussions, our movement will create a solid foundation for the reunification of North and South Korea.
About our work:
We are an NGO focused on raising awareness about the situation in North Korea and providing relief assistance to the North Korean refugees. We also provide education and integration programs for the North Korean children and youth resettling in South Korea. We are located in Seoul, South Korea, but cooperate with many international organizations.
The project was searching for funds to produce music profit from which would be directed to help rescue North Koreans in need. At present, the project does not have gathered required funds to produce the album. However, the rescue operations are ongoing and we would like to use these funds for the rescue of North Korean persons in need of urgent assistance.
