About us

Agape international is a Swiss organisation, which is involved in over one hundred individual development and relief Projects primarily in Asia, South America and Africa.

It's all about a lasting commitment, which helps to a build long-term partnership with the respective peoples and regions. Within the framework of this activity, Agape international offers people in many lands the support they need to rebuild their countries, by helping them to help themselves.

We work...
mainly on assignments abroad, though to some extent, the initiation or organisation of these assignments are also realised in Switzerland.

Our workers are supported by specialists from the most varied fields of activity, depending on the specific demands of the individual Projects.

We help...
people, first and foremost, whose plight is not of international media interest. As a rule, our aid is handled by trustworthy locals who have direct contact with the population. A project coordinator or a location manager work locally, supervising and monitoring the Projects.

We want...
our aid to have long-lasting results. Our strengths do not lie so much in the realm of severe catastrophes, but above all, in Projects requiring long-term commitment and having long-term effects. To this end, we work together with local manpower and institutions, as well as with other relief organisations.

We have...
only limited funds, but we have the strong conviction that in this world, we can change things for the better in the very places where hopelessness has reached its peak. This is why we respond to the requests for help that we receive with such a high level of commitment and overwhelming joy.

We touch...
hearts, in the sense that we bring God's love where it is most needed.
