Nyabohanse Children Rescue Centre

managed by E. Magwe

About us

Nyabohanse Children Rescue Centre which is a community-based organization dedicated to community development. We assist children, women, youth and disadvantaged people in the community.

We seek support for our community-based projects including support for HIV/Aids orphans, disabled, widows and single parents. At the moment, we are seeking other stakeholders in the sector who can support us in our efforts and also explore ways of partnering in order to reach these needy people who are unreachable.
All stakeholders including sponsors and volunteers also play an important role in the management of programs and assist in project programming.

We encourage and enable children and young people to promote the holistic health, well-being and development of themselves, their families and their communities. We aim to better the lives of the poor families in rural set ups for better survival and sustainable development.
We believe in children’s active participation and in respecting their freedom of expression and communication, which are advocated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

We believe that child protection is crucial to ensuring that children under 18 years of age have the rights, confidence and environment in which they can make choices, express their views and communicate effectively with other children and adults.

Children cannot become empowered change agents to improve their lives and that of their families and communities if they are not safeguarded from abuse, discrimination and harm of any kind, be it physical, sexual, emotional or neglect.

We aim to assist women, children and the general poor in all rural set ups in accessing basic services. Address the health issues and offer sanitation to the slum dwellers in per-urban settlements. We give our services in the provision of water to the hardest hit in the rural village by way of offering alternative sources especially construction of boreholes. Supporting the poor to pull resources together and initiate income generating programs for the better development of their children and assisting in the establishment of amenities that are cheaper and accessible. In essence, we aim to change our approach to one that allows everyone else to take part in our development and life status to change for the better.
