About us
Life-Giving Forest is a german association founded to support the planting of a tropical mixed forest in the Philippines. Our partners are people with disabilities who own and manage a carpentry in Mindanao, Philippines.
In the meantime our group consists of 23 persons from various backgrounds. We all believe in a world, in which every living beeing can fulfill its individual needs through a respectful and farsighted handling of the organic and anorganic nature.
This project gives us the opportunity to deal with the modern challenges of climate change, poverty and environmental destruction.
Life-Giving Forest e.V. uses an holistic approach, thus utilizing the complexity and cross-linkage of the situation in order to get things going.
The project is mainly financed by private donors and by feeder bowls.
In Germany Life-Giving Forest organizes presentations and events in order to inform about the project and create awareness for global linkages.
Young people have the chance to be a volunteer for Life-Giving Forest in the Philippines, or write their final thesis.
