help alliance is the aid organization of the Lufthansa Group and their employees.
The non-profit making private limited company is currently overseeing 30 projects worldwide which aim in particular to provide access to education for young people and to enable them to live a self-determined life.
Multilingual employees, whether they are flight attendants, mechanics or managers, take on responsibility in the projects and support with their knowledge, skills and networks. This personal connection creates an atmosphere of trust and ensures that the funds donated are used precisely in the areas where they are needed.
Our projects are financed exclusively through donations. Through the anchoring of the help alliance within the Lufthansa Group and the generous support of our various member companies, we are able to cancel out all administration costs. This means that every cent flows directly into the projects.

Tebogo und Nonhlanhla konnten einmal wieder einen Ausflug mit Tina machen. Darauf haben sie sich schon Stunden vorher gefreut und es hat ihnen sichtlich gefallen, ein bisschen durch die Gegend zu fahren. Sie wirken glücklich, was angesichts eines Lebens mit Behinderung in Südafrika wahrlich ein Glück ist. Gut, dass es so gekommen ist – haltet die Ohren steif, ihr starken und lustigen Mädels!

Trotz der vielen lieben helfenden Hände haben die Safe-House-Kids noch einen harten Weg vor sich, und das Projekt benötigt dringend finanzielle Unterstützung, um zu garantieren, dass jeder seinen Weg machen kann. Besonders die älteren Bewohner haben es FAST geschafft und die Zuwendungen tragen Früchte, wie man an den bereits gut ausgebildeten jungen Erwachsenen und ihren Zielen sieht!
