Community Dollars Development Group

About us

We are a group of local currency advocates launching a community currency in western Canada. A missing component is the software to manage the program. We seek funding for the development of this software.

The software will be created as an open source project so that other communities needing to manage their own local currency can do so easily and effectively using the software application.

The local currency 'model' is designed by Michael Linton, the creator of the LETSystem (Local Exchange Trading System) which is currently used around the world by many organizations involved in Barter.
