On 3rd september a team from a non profit Organisation from Germany called People Help people One world Idstein Mr Bernhard Wingerberg, his wife Renate and daughter Meilin and PMYO directors Mr nicholas ssenjala,David Kyambadde and Kayongo david got involved in an accident on their way to visit projects implemented in the rural areas of uganda Kasanje sub county. The accident took the life of one of the PMYO directors called David kayongo and injured the rest of the occupants but thank God the survived are recovering steadly. However due to the impact of the accident the Van that PMYO has long been using for transport to implement monitor and manage youth development projects got dameged beyound repair, therefore PMYO team is finding difficult in accessing the areas where their projects are implemented. This is due to lack of a transport van to transport our team and the equipments. Kasanje is one of the poorest areas in central Uganda with no or poor infrastructure as a result of government negligence of the rural areas. We therefore kindly ask you to help in our fundraising to raise money and buy a van that can help PMYO continue providing community services to the rural poor in uganda. You don't have to be rich to help, 1 euro, dollar or pound cac make an impact. Donate now and be blessed.
God bless you all.

State of Roads in Uganda

N. Ssenjala published this fundraising event on 01. November 2011.
Uganda has an estimation of 22 million people of which 64% are young people who are the backbone of the economy. However Uganda being one of the least developed country in Africa its comprised of poor infrastracture which has further hindered development. 70% of people in uganda lives below poverty level feeding on half a euro pay day,the government has however remained adamant as far as infrasture is concerned. PMYO does poverty alleviation projects for the young in rural areas where roads are impassable and scarce public means. This has slowed down our work and hindered further development. We therefore ask anyone who can help us raise funds to replace our van that perished in the road accident in september 2013. This will increase our efficiency in services we give to the community of kasanje.
thank you all.
1 euro makes a change.
