Caylee Marie Anthony (born August 9, 2005) was last seen with her mother on June 16, 2008 and was reported missing by her grandmother, Cindy Anthony, on July 18, 2008. Her remains were discovered in a wooded area near the family home on December 11, 2008. She was only 2 years old when she was murdered on June 16, 2008.

This fund-raising event was started in order to achieve a much safer way to celebrate this young girls short life (instead of a campaign to release balloons and harm the environment). We wanted to celebrate young Caylee Anthony by helping Children in Need. We are not looking for grand gestures with the donations. ANY amount will do. There's no limit. It can be $1 up to any amount. We don't want anyone going broke for this event. I've lowered the donation amount to $5000 so that we might be able to meet our goal (since we have only received 1 donation so far).
