Please sponsor me for the Masaka Marathon

Dear friend,

Due to the long drought that has hit East Africa, the prevailing poverty and high inflation,
many children from low income families here in Uganda are starving. Many children do not have access to food, Those who can have access, eat only one insuffiecent meal per day. I want to support Youth With A Vision who are on ground tasked to provide regular food to the starving children in their foster families and Kako Primary School.

On 22 October 2011, I'll be taking the greatest challenge in my life-running a 14 Km race of the Masaka Marathon to help raise funds to provide food to some of these hungry kids here in Masaka. I will be training solidaly for 8 weeks and will run 14Km on at the Masaka Marathon. I want to raise €1044 ($1500) for YW AV to continue providing food to the starving kids. For each child to access a cup of porridge with sugar meal, it will cost €1 per week per child. My initial target will be to cover the cost of food (a cup of porridge with sugar meal) for 261 children for 1 month.
