About our first project
After all the regrettable disasters over the past years we wanted to involve ourselves in humanitarian actions. The question was more how to do it in a simple and safe way? Then, we discovered betterplace.org.
The first project we could take part into was "Earthquake in Japan; children need help" held by the NGO Save the Children. Since this project has already been launched and supported by many persons, we also wanted to make our contribution. After such catastrophes, a lot of children have not only lost their parents and relatives but also don't have houses or schools anymore. To us, participate in that project is helping them rebuilding their lives.
From now on, we decided to give 250€ to launch the project. Our target is to have collected 1,000€ by the end of May, 2011. When the target is reached we will give 250€ more! At the end of May we will take all the funds we received for this project and thanks to betterplace.org directly transfer them to Save the Children.
That's why we would be very grateful if you would also participate in our project!
