What’s it about
To train 160 Kenyan youth actors aged 18 to 25 in educational theater, thereby enhancing their capacity to educate their peer about HIV and AIDS, drug abuse and sexual and reproductive health, amongst other issues. Eleven young professional actors from Nordic and other lands, graduates of The Commedia School, will travel in May 2011 to Kenya for two weeks to train 160 AMURT Youth in using Theatre In Education. The AMURT youth are working in a peer to peer education program teaching about issues such as HIV/AIDS.
