Status update:
We planted all reef stars and corals for the christmas charity. Since the visibility is currently super bad, we tried to capture the reef stars with camera, which didn't work that well. With a contribution of 30 Euro, one reef star can be funded. It is a metal structure that is placed on the ocean floor and the new home for 18 coral fragments. These fragments continue to grow and develop into a new coral colony.
Just write the name – we can print on the bamboo name tag – into the public comment field :)
Every time I joined a coral planting activity, it was impressive to see how an empty part of the sea can slowly become full of life again. Watching the coral fragments grow makes it clear that even small steps can support the regeneration of marine ecosystems.
I would be very happy if we can continue growing the Indojunkie Coral Reef and support the recovery of the underwater world in Padangbai.

Liebe Indojunkie Community,
dank euch konnten wir im Dezember über 80 Reef Stars pflanzen. Das war ein großartiger Beitrag für den Wiederaufbau des Indojunkie Riffs. Wir sind unglaublich dankbar für euer Vertrauen und euer Engagement!
Viele von euch haben sich eine persönliche Widmung auf einem kleinen Bambus-Schildchen gewünscht. Je nach Sichtverhältnissen unter Wasser sind die Widmungen jedoch nicht auf allen Bildern klar erkennbar. Aktuell befinden wir uns mitten in der Regenzeit, was die Sicht oftmals nach Regen trübt.
Heute haben wir nochmal rund 25 weitere Fotos hochgeladen – jeweils mit dem Spendernamen als Dateiname – sowie einige Videos der Pflanzung, damit Ihr noch mehr Eindrücke vom Projekt bekommt: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1yqDkQ9RtRPWKNQ-ZOy0eL6eeojYFwAGQ?usp=drive_link.
Wichtiger ist: Euer Beitrag lebt im Riff weiter... unabhängig von der Lesbarkeit eines Schildes. Jede Pflanzung stärkt das Ökosystem und macht einen echten Unterschied.
