Education and climate protection in Madagascar 4ever :)

Warum wollen wir für Madagaskar spenden?
Wir sammeln Spenden, weil wir das Thema ,,Madagaskar hautnah – Auf Entdeckungstour im Land der Lemuren" haben und deshalb viel über die Kultur und die Menschen in Madagaskar gelernt haben.
Warum haben wir uns für diese Spendenaktion entschieden?
Wir haben uns für die  Spendenaktion „Für eine bessere Zukunft – Bildung und Klimaschutz in Madagaskar“ von Deutsch-Madagassischer Schulverein e.V. entschieden, weil es um Klimaschutz  und Bildung geht und Bildung und Nachhaltigkeit wichtig ist.
Wichtige Fakten:
In Madagaskar gibt es einen hohen Lehrermangel, da der Job unterbezahlt ist und die Leute sich neben Jobs suchen müssen um Geld zu verdienen, gibt es viele Unterrichtsausfälle.
In Madagaskar gibt es eine Schulpflicht und die geht eigentlich von 6 bis 14 Jahre, jedoch gehen ca. 1,5 Millionen Kinder nicht in die Schule, weil sie es sich nicht leisten können oder einen sehr langen Schulweg haben.

Why do we want to donate to Madagascar?
We are collecting donations because our theme is "Madagascar Up Close - On a Discovery Tour in the Land of Lemurs" and we have learned a lot about the culture and people of Madagascar.
Why did we choose this fundraising campaign?
We chose the fundraising campaign "For a Better Future - Education and Climate Protection in Madagascar" run by the German-Malagasy School Association e.V. because it is about climate protection and education, and education and sustainability are important.
Important facts:
There is a severe shortage of teachers in Madagascar. Since the job is underpaid and people have to find other jobs to earn money, there are many class cancellations.
In Madagascar, school attendance is compulsory, and it actually runs from ages 6 to 14. However, approximately 1.5 million children don't go to school because they can't afford it or have a very long commute.
