Kakuma Refugee Camp is home to thousands of displaced individuals who have fled war, persecution, and economic hardships. However, amid these struggles, a new crisis is emerging: youth are increasingly drawn into gang activities and robbery, women are engaging in prostitution for survival, and many people live in deep despair due to the challenges of refugee life.

In response, a new born church; the Universal Church of Jesus Christ is launching a campaign to construct a place of worship, a center for faith, and a beacon of hope where people can find guidance, moral support, and spiritual renewal.

Why We Need Your Support
The absence of a strong moral and spiritual foundation has left many vulnerable to destructive lifestyles.

Without proper mentorship, young people seek belonging in criminal groups, and women turn to harmful survival means. Our mission is to construct a church that will serve as a sanctuary of faith, peace, and transformation.

This church will:
-Provide spiritual guidance and counseling to help people overcome desperation.
-Offer mentorship programs for youth to prevent them from engaging in crime.
-Support women with alternative livelihood skills to reduce reliance on prostitution.
-Organize peace and reconciliation programs to promote harmony among refugees.
-Build a faith-driven community where people can live with hope and patience.

Our Fundraising Goal
To build this church, we need financial support for:
-Purchasing land and construction materials.
-Setting up a community center within the church for mentorship and training.
-Providing Bibles and educational materials for spiritual growth.
-Supporting outreach programs for at-risk youth and women.
