Melissa Alteses Fundraising Campaign

Wollen wir gemeinsam etwas wirklich gut zu dieren? How about supporting "Upcoming: Achilles Kids" from Achilles International Germany through this fundraising campaign? I chose this organization because there should be no gatekeeping in running. Running should be accessible to everyone, and Achilles is laying the groundwork to make that happen. In so many races, I've witnessed first hand how Achilles lifts people up, and truly admire the work that they do to support athletes with disabilities.

Running has changed and shaped my life so much—it's pushed me physically and mentally, it's helped me branch out, it's given me irreplaceable connections and provided a space to test the limits, and a space to the fail safely if I don't hit the marks I strive for. The level of support in the running community is unmatched and, as such, it should be a welcoming space for everyone who wishes to take part. I believe Achilles will make that a reality.
