What’s it about
We all know the feeling: the meeting started… but the participant didn’t. Life happens, agendas fill up, the coffee queue gets long. But instead of letting delays frustrate us, we’re channeling them for good.
Late for Charity is our next round of converting minor workplace annoyances into meaningful impact. The principle is simple:
- If you're late to a meeting I’ve organized, you’re invited to donate 1€ per minute you arrived late.
- If you completely no-show without cancelling, you’re asked to donate a flat 5€ as a gesture of goodwill.
All proceeds go to Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) — a humanitarian organization that quite literally shows up where others won’t. They provide critical medical care in crisis zones around the world, guided by principles of neutrality, independence, and medical ethics.
This is, of course, voluntary — but consider it your way of turning a few lost minutes into life-saving impact.
