What’s it about

Nakivale Refugee camp contains more 250 people with various types of disabilities including mental disabilities, hearing disability, visual disability and 55 people with albinism. Most of them have advanced skin diseases.water-borne diseases and malaria are endemic in Nakivale Refugee camp. Recently the camp experienced a cholera attack. The few financial resources that this category of people had and their small income generating activities were used up and stopped during the long period of COVID-19.Medical care for this very vulnerable people is appropriate but expensive without financial support which allows them to purchase medicine and other relevant things for their skin protection against skin cancer.
Your donation will help to improve quality and appropriate medical assistance and health care to 55 people with albinism in Nakivale refugee settlement in Uganda.
Your donation will allow for the effective delivery of First Emergency  care to people with albinism  and improve access to quality health care services in the community in a timely manner.
