La Isla Hiking Challenge - London Fund Management

On September 18th, a select and intrepid group of London based PATRIZIAN’s from the Fund Management team (mostly), will embark on an inspiring challenge: a 2 day, 50km hike up the mountains of Mallorca. Whilst the relentless heat, steep ascent and unforgiving terrain will be difficult to cope with, the real challenge is to raise funds to support the extension of the PATRIZIA School Sondoveni, Peru - Patrizia Foundation in the Peruvian rainforest.

Since its inception in 2013, the PATRIZIA School Sondoveni has been transformed from a modest facility with three classrooms for five grades into an educational institution providing opportunities to over 60 students. It now boasts two additional classrooms, a community area, a kitchen, a drinking water filtration system, and teacher accommodation, all of which were completed during the spring of 2023.

 

Christian, Dawn, Jae, Kimberley, Luke, Mischa, Rob and Sophie hope to raise [€5,000] as part of the collective objective to raise €130,000, which will have a profound and lasting impact on the education and future of children in and around the indigenous village of Sondoveni. These funds will enable the provision of quality education to a larger number of children, new classrooms and help to secure the long-term future of the school for the community. 100% of the proceeds from this challenge will be dedicated to the project in Peru.
