What’s it about
I'll attempt to run my first ultra marathon in August 2022. I decided to make the race about more than just me repeatedly stumbling and falling for 80 kilometers. Therefore, I decided to combine my run with a small fundraising event. I'd like to gather some money for the Ukrainian journalists who risk their lives on a daily basis to provide us with accurate and trustworthy information about the situation on the ground.
From here, I'll just stick with the default text by betterplace.org: I chose “Support for journalists in Ukraine” by n-ost – border crossing journalism because they’re very dear to my heart. Both n-ost – border crossing journalism and I will thank you for your contribution, every donation counts!
Why am I using betterplace.org? Donating is both safe and easy and I can keep you up-to-date with news posts. German tax receipts will be automatically sent out at the beginning of next year.
