What’s it about
Hi everyone,
This year many of the races are coming back. Its been a few years since running a marathon. Now, getting straight to it: I am feeling privileged to be running the Halfmarathon on 03.04.22 in the city of Berlin that I can now call home whilst millions not far from my home are forced to flee theirs. Many of us have probably given what they can and are helping already, but if you would like to support me with just a little whilst I am running, I will be grateful to you always. ❤️
The UNHCR has increased its activities and capacities in Ukraine and neighboring countries. In the past few days, blankets, mattresses and other relief supplies have already been distributed to those in need. They remain firmly committed to assisting all affected communities in Ukraine and countries in the region.
I do wish that in this way I can help someone to keep a strong mind and go through this terrible time. Thanking you all so much. Xx

In diesem Jahr kommen viele der Rennen zurück. Es ist schon ein paar Jahre her, dass ich einen Marathon gelaufen bin. Nun, um gleich zur Sache zu kommen: Ich fühle mich privilegiert, den Halbmarathon am 03.04.22 in Berlin zu laufen, der Stadt, die ich jetzt mein Zuhause nennen kann, während Millionen nicht weit von meinem Zuhause gezwungen sind, aus ihrem zu fliehen. Viele von uns haben wahrscheinlich gegeben, was sie konnten, und helfen bereits, aber wenn ihr mich beim Laufen auch nur ein wenig unterstützen möchtet, werde ich euch immer dankbar sein. ❤️

In den vergangenen Tagen konnten bereits Decken, Matratzen und andere Hilfsgüter an Bedürftige verteilt werden. Sie bleiben fest entschlossen, alle betroffenen Bevölkerungsgruppen in der Ukraine und den Ländern der Region zu unterstützen.
Ich wünsche mir, dass ich auf diese Weise jemandem helfen kann, stark zu bleiben und diese schreckliche Zeit zu überstehen.
