"Poverty is the biggest barrier to education."
The common goal of our projects is to support minorities in rural areas to improve their chances in the labor market. Through education in IT-related topics, we aim to build confidence and trust.

For this, we need donations to enable mentoring sessions and workshops with Kenyan female students as well as to purchase laptops for schools in Uganda to hold IT and programming courses.

We would like to thank you for your participation in our donation initiative. It is truly inspiring that even in times of uncertainty and crisis we are joining forces to improve the lives of those in need.
With your help we could already achieve the following:
Set up infrastructure for schools in Uganda
We were able to deliver ten laptops to teachers of our two partner schools and provide them with the necessary software as well as granting them access to the internet.
Preparation of several programming and tool courses
Together with our partners we already started with lessons regarding Microsoft Office. Therefore we prepared a beginner Word course and an advanced Excel course in which the participants will learn how to work with these programs.
More advanced courses like web programming and python development will follow in the near future.
Set up mentoring program in Kenya
Since early 2022 we held one-to-one virtual mentoring sessions with around 20 students tailored to their individual needs. Workshops on topics like technical interviews or working as a freelancer will follow in the next months.

Mit Eurer Hilfe konnten wir bereits Folgendes erreichen:
Aufbau von Infrastruktur für Schulen in Uganda
Wir konnten zehn Laptops an die Lehrer unserer beiden Partnerschulen ausliefern und sie mit der notwendigen Software ausstatten sowie ihnen Zugang zum Internet gewähren.
Vorbereitung mehrerer Programmier- und Tool-Kurse
Gemeinsam mit unseren Partnern haben wir bereits mit dem Unterricht zu Microsoft Office begonnen. So haben wir einen Word-Einsteigerkurs und einen Excel-Kurs für Fortgeschrittene vorbereitet, in denen die Teilnehmer lernen, mit diesen Programmen zu arbeiten.
Weitere Kurse für Fortgeschrittene wie Webprogrammierung und Python-Entwicklung werden in naher Zukunft folgen.
Aufbau eines Mentoring-Programms in Kenia
Seit Anfang 2022 haben wir mit rund 20 Studenten virtuelle Einzel-Mentoring-Sitzungen abgehalten, die auf deren individuelle Bedürfnisse zugeschnitten waren. In den nächsten Monaten werden Workshops zu Themen wie technische Interviews oder Arbeiten als Freiberufler folgen.
