What’s it about
Hello Friends, Let’s achieve something great together! I am running the Berlin Marathon Sunday, September 25, 2022. You can start by supporting this fundraiser. I’ve chosen to support "Achilles Kids” by Achilles International because they’re very dear to my heart. Both Achilles International and I will thank you for your contribution, every donation counts!
Why am I using betterplace.org? Donating is both safe and easy and I can keep you up-to-date with news posts. Achilles has been helping children with disability for years and years. They do outstanding work on behalf of all the children of the world. Kids with disability are displaced and the need for a safe home, physical activity, medical and social services are of utmost importance at this time. The situation is dire.
Physical activity is an important part of every child’s healthy development. But for children with disabilities, it’s more important than you think. A recent Reuters Health study reports that children with disabilities who participate in the right exercise program show improved quality of life, greater aerobic capacity, and better function.
Any amount is invaluable at this time. I appreciate your generosity of heart.
