For emergency medicine in Ukraine - UMM NGO

The purpose of Ukrainian Medical Mission, NGO is to improve  high-quality medical services provision in Ukraine, as well as assistance for a professional activity of medical professionals in Ukraine. Military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has made provision of medical assistance to civilian and injured soldiers almost impossible. As the result of active hostilities, some regions and villages are blocked, and delivery of medicines and medical care are impossible. The logistics and transportation of health care professionals for emergency care provision became critical.
Starting from the first day of the aggression on 24.02.2022, UMM deployed a medical center to support the villages of Kyiv region. We have organized on-site workplace for two surgeons, neurologist and paramedic. Also wee have engaged other specialists consulting remotely. The mentioned medical center provides 24/7 medical assistance, performs surgeries for the wounded and injured, provides assistance and medicines as collected from the citizens, as well as those purchased at UMM's own expense.
