Zalando supporting Ukraine

Dear Zalando colleagues, 

 

Like many of you, we are monitoring developments and following the news very closely and are deeply disturbed by the war in Ukraine, the associated violence, and the long-term implications. It has been heartening to see the many expressions and demonstrations of solidarity on the streets of many cities and on various online platforms. We share the commitment and belief in democracy and peace and the urgent desire to see an immediate end to the violence in Ukraine. 

 

In addition to our many teams coming together to respond to this crisis and its consequences, especially to protect and support colleagues wherever we can,  we also want to contribute to broader relief efforts through humanitarian channels. 

 

We have set up this fund to support our partners humedica, German Red Cross, and Unicef, who are coordinating important response efforts. For every Euro donated by our employees, we will to match the donation and the collected amount will be split equally among the three organizations.
