What’s it about

This September I will be taking part in the PATRIZIA LakesChallenge 2021. Together with ~50 colleagues I will be hiking approx. 50 km across two days and climbing over 3,000 meters in the Lake District, England.

It will surely rain... Rainwater can save lives in Uganda. Please help us to raise money for a rainwater harvesting system In Uganda.

I’ve chosen to support  PATRIZIA Foundation primary school project in Buyamba, Uganda.

The school a is in urgent need of  a rainwater harvesting system,  new outdoor classrooms and the refurbishment of nine existing classrooms and dormitories to enable the children to return. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to the closure of the school and since March 2020 students have not received any education or had access to the school meals that many families reply upon. To reopen, the school must implement certain measures to prevent the spread of the virus, which is not financially supported by the government.

More than €77k have already been donated. Our target is to raise €100k in total. Every euro donated flows 100% into the project.

Thank you!

Why am I using betterplace.org? Donating is both safe and easy. German tax receipts will be automatically sent out at the beginning of next year.
