What’s it about
Im Juli haben der Starkregen und das Hochwasser einige Gebiete in Nordrhein-Westfalen und Rheinland-Pfalz sehr schwer getroffen. Wir sind erschüttert und traurig über die vielen Todesopfer und Verletzten sowie die unzähligen Bilder der Zerstörung, eingestürzter Häuser und der Spur der Verwüstung, welche die Überschwemmungen verursacht haben. Unser Mitgefühl gilt den Menschen, die durch diese Katastrophe schlimme Verluste erlitten haben. Gleichzeitig sind wir dankbar für die vielen Helfer:innen und Freiwilligen vor Ort, darunter auch einige unserer Mitarbeitenden, die unermüdlich im Einsatz sind, um den Opfern zu helfen und die Schäden zu beseitigen.
Auch Maxion Wheels möchte in diesen schweren Stunden seine Solidarität mit den Flut-Opfern zum Ausdruck bringen und ihnen helfen. Deshalb haben wir diese Spendenaktion erstellt und laden alle Mitarbeitenden dazu ein, wenn möglich, die von der Unwetterkatastrophe betroffenen Menschen in unserer Region finanziell zu unterstützen. Das Unternehmen wird anschließend alle Spenden verdoppeln. So können wir gemeinsam in der gegenwärtigen Notlage zu schneller und wirksamer Hilfe vor Ort beitragen.
Jede Spende, egal in welcher Höhe, hilft beim Wiederaufbau der betroffenen Gemeinden.

In July, heavy rain and flooding severely affected several areas in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. We are devastated and saddened by the loss of life, the numerous injured and the many images of destruction, collapsed houses and the trail of devastation caused by the flooding. Our thoughts are with all people who have suffered terrible losses through this disaster. We are grateful for the many responders and volunteers on the ground, including some of our employees, who are working tirelessly to help the victims and clean up the aftermath.
Maxion Wheels would like to express our solidarity with the flood victims and offer them our help in these difficult hours. We therefore have set up this fundraising campaign and invite all employees, when possible, to financially support the people in our region affected by the severe weather disaster. The Company will match all donations, which will help to provide fast and effective help on the ground in times of need.
Every donation, regardless of size, will help to rebuild the affected communities.
