Let’s achieve something great together! You can start by supporting this fundraiser. I’ve chosen to use this stream to support ''Aktion Deutschland Hilft''. On 14 July, heavy rain and severe storms hit Germany and adjacent regions. Rivers overflowed and destroyed entire towns and villages: roads were flooded, rail and road traffic as well as mobile phone networks are still partially paralysed. Thousands of people have been evacuated and many have lost their homes and belongings. The death toll has now risen to more than 160, with many more missing. 

''Aktion Deutschland'' helps to: 

-support the evacuation of affected families and bring them to safety
-organize shelters for people who now no longer have a home
-help with the cleanup and provide construction dryers
-secure dangerous areas
-support people with cash so they can get basic necessities
-to distribute hygiene kits to people in emergency shelters
-to provide food for emergency workers on site
-to provide psychosocial support to children and adults
