Josefines Spendenaktion - Freiwilligendienst Ghana

ab September 2021 absolviere ich für 12 Monate einen „weltwärts“ Freiwilligendienst in Ghana/ Westafrika. Dort werde ich aktiv in den Bildungsprojekten der Ghana-Hilfe Aminu Initiative e. V. mitarbeiten.

Unter dem Motto „Geben und Nehmen“ entsendet die Aminu Initiative bereits seit vielen Jahren freiwillige Mitarbeiter in ihre Projekte in Ghana. Hierbei legt die Aminu Initiative besonders großen Wert auf eine enge und persönliche Zusammenarbeit auf Augenhöhe mit der ghanaischen Partnerorganisation vor Ort.

Dieser ehrenamtliche Einsatz in Ghana dient unter anderem der Förderung der internationalen Völkerverständigung, welche einen Schwerpunkt der Arbeit der Aminu Initiative darstellt. Er führt zu mehr Verständnis, Akzeptanz und Toleranz gegenüber der jeweils anderen Kultur, welche dann nach Rückkehr der Freiwilligen nach Deutschland auch hier ihre Wirkung zeigt und so ganz gezielt auf die Nachhaltigkeit des Einsatzes angelegt ist.

Dies ist eine Bereicherung für Freiwillige, deren Umfeld, ghanaische und deutsche Mitarbeiter sowie die Schützlinge der Aminu Initiative gleichermaßen. Die Aminu Initiative versteht sich als „Lernende Organisation“ und den weltwärts-Freiwilligendienst als „Lerndienst“ für alle Beteiligten.

„Weltwärts“ ist der entwicklungspolitische Freiwilligendienst des Bundesministeriums für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ). Das BMZ fördert den weltwärts-Einsatz zu 75% der Gesamtkosten. Die restlichen 25% der Kosten liegen bei der Entsendeorganisation.

Mit diesem Spendenaufruf möchte ich der Aminu Initiative bei ihren Projekten in Ghana unterstützen und würde mich riesig freuen, wenn Sie mich dabei unterstützen.

Dear readers,

From September 2021, I will be doing a 12-month "weltwärts" voluntary service in Ghana/West Africa. There, I will be actively involved in the educational projects of the Ghana-Hilfe Aminu Initiative e. V..

Under the motto "Give and Take", the Aminu Initiative has been sending volunteers to its projects in Ghana for many years. In doing so, the Aminu Initiative attaches particular importance to close and personal cooperation at eye level with the local Ghanaian partner organisation.

This voluntary work in Ghana serves, among other things, to promote international understanding, which is one of the main focuses of the Aminu Initiative's work. It leads to greater understanding, acceptance and tolerance of the other culture, which then also has an effect here after the volunteers return to Germany and is thus specifically designed for the sustainability of the assignment.

This is an enrichment for volunteers, their environment, Ghanaian and German staff as well as the protégés of the Aminu Initiative. The Aminu Initiative sees itself as a "learning organisation" and the weltwärts voluntary service as a "learning service" for all participants.

"weltwärts" is the development policy voluntary service of the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The BMZ funds the weltwärts assignment at 75% of the total costs. The remaining 25% of the costs are borne by the sending organisation.
