What’s it about

Hey everyone,

Water is an incredibly valuable resource. You need it, I need it, everyone needs it. However, there are lots of people who don't even have access to clean drinking water - and unfortunately, this problem is becoming more imminent all over the world.

My birthday is on its way and this year, I'd like to ask you for a donation to Viva con Agua. Viva con Agua supports WASH-projects (WAter, Sanitation, Hygiene) worldwide together with international and local partner organizations to provide clean drinking water, sanitation and hygiene to people. Important project areas are for example Ethiopia, Uganda, and South Africa. Until today, over 3 million people benefited from water project measures supported by Viva con Agua and its partners.

If you're interested in the subject of worldwide water distribution, I recommend to check out the Water Footprint Network as well as the work of Arjen Y. Hoekstra:

Thank you for your support :)
