What’s it about
ALERTA! Last year was rather unfortunate for us football fans, and everyone involved in fan-owned, community football. Matches were postponed, leagues annulled, international meetings cancelled. Even if we’re eagerly awaiting return of football (but not return to old normal!), there’s still some time to kill, and we decided to play some good old match of FIFA, to do just that.
We present you the first international online FIFA tournament for fan-owned and antifascist clubs all-around Europe – ALERTA CUP!
Who will play? Members of eight fan-owned football clubs from six different countries. We will have teams from ASC Quartograd, Borussia Leer, Clapton CFC, Futbalova komunita Kozmos, IFC Rostock, Independiente de Vallecas, NK Zagreb 041 and St.Amboreus.
The matches will take place on 6th and 7th of March. The tournament will be accompanied for the fundraising drive for Sea Watch – the organization that does amazing work at the frontlines of Europe’s refugee crisis.
