Mission Lifeline ist jetzt auch vor Westafrika aktiv!
Immer mehr Menschen versuchen die Kanarischen Inseln zu erreichen, in der Hoffnung ein besseres Leben in der EU zu finden. Obwohl die politische Situation vor den Kanaren anders ist, als im Mittelmeer, ist die Gefahr zu ertrinken trotzdem groß.
Mission Lifeline’s Hauptziel auf den Kanarischen Inseln ist, das Seegebiet vor Westafrika zu überwachen und mit lokalen Seenotrettern zu kooperieren, in der Hoffnung, dass weniger Menschen während der Flucht ertrinken. Mission Lifeline’s Schiff steht bereits da und wird bald losfahren!
Mission Lifeline braucht eure Unterstützung damit das Boot für Notfälle ausgerüstet ist. Es geht um essenzielles Rettungs-Equipment:
2 Centifloats: Centifloats sind spezielle Rettungsluftschläuchen, an denen Menschen im Meer sich festhalten können bis sie an Bord in Sicherheit gebracht werden.
80 Rettungswesten: Damit Menschen sicher bleiben bis sie an Land gehen können!
3800 Euro ist ein leicht erreichbares Ziel, und dieses Geld könnte sehr schnell viele Leben retten.

Mission Lifeline is now also active in West Africa!
More and more people are trying to reach the Canary Islands, hoping to find a better life in the EU, and although the political situation in the Canary Islands is different than in the Mediterranean, the risk of drowning is still big.
Mission Lifeline’s main goal in the Canary Islands is to monitor the West African sea area and to cooperate with local sea rescuers, in the hope that fewer people drown while fleeing their countries to seek asylum. Mission Lifeline’s ship is already there and is about to set sail!
Mission Lifeline needs your support so that the boat is properly equipped for emergencies. Some essential rescue equipment is needed before the mission can start:
2 Centifloats: Centifloats are special rescue air hoses which people in the sea can hold onto until they are brought on board to safety.
80 life jackets: So that people stay safe until they can go ashore!
3800 euros is an easily achievable goal and this money could save many lives very quickly.
